Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Cuky Lab s. r. o., a company registered in Slovakia (Poruba pod Vihorlatom 150, 072 32 Poruba pod Vihorlatom, Slovakia; IČO 54992541) ("we"), about playing Quillsworn. By playing, you accept them. If you get Quillsworn through Steam, the Steam Subscriber Agreement applies too. How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.

Your account

• Your account is for you alone. Don't share, sell or trade it, and don't use someone else's.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else got into it.
• Your name must not be offensive, impersonate someone or advertise anything. We may act on a name that breaks this, up to closing the account.

Playtest and changes

Quillsworn is still being made. While it's in playtest:

• cards, classes, rewards and anything else in the game can change at any time;
• your progress, collection, gold and ranks may be reset;
• the servers may be down or restarted, sometimes in the middle of a match.

We'll try to warn you about big changes in the game's notice, but we can't promise to.

Play fair

You must not:

• cheat, use hacks, bots, scripts, macros or modified game files to play for you or to gain an advantage;
• use bugs or exploits on purpose. If you find one, tell us through the Feedback form;
• lose matches on purpose, arrange results with other players, or play on someone else's account to raise their rank;
• attack, overload or try to get into our servers, or get around the limits they set;
• copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the game or its servers, except where the law allows it;
• harass, threaten or abuse other players, or send us feedback that does.

If you break these rules, we may warn you, reset what you gained unfairly, or suspend or permanently close your account, depending on how serious it is. You can tell us if you think we got it wrong.

Gold, cards and other in-game items

Gold, cards, materials, levels, ranks and everything else you earn in Quillsworn are part of the game, not property. They have no real-money value and can't be sold, traded or exchanged for money or anything outside the game. We give you a personal right to use them while you play, and we may change or remove them as the game changes.

The game is ours

Quillsworn, its art, music, sounds, text and code belong to us or to the people who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to play the game for your own entertainment. You may stream and share videos and screenshots of it.

Your feedback

When you send us feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them to improve the game, without paying you or having to credit you.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the game running and fair, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost progress or in-game items, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Ending

You can stop playing whenever you like and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may close the game one day; we'll announce that in advance.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game changes. We'll show the new version in the game and change the date at the top; if you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

Slovak law applies to these terms, along with any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Please contact us first through the game's Feedback form; we'll try to sort out any problem together.
